3-Year Limited Warranty

Local Glass & Screen provides a 3-year limited warranty on qualifying shower door products supplied and installed by our company. This warranty is for the original purchaser at the original installation address and begins on the installation date.

What Is Covered

  • Confirmed installation workmanship defects affecting normal operation.
  • Adjustment of swinging or sliding shower door panels when required because of our installation.
  • Confirmed manufacturing defects in company-supplied hinges, rollers or other standard hardware.
  • Premature flaking of a standard hardware finish when confirmed as a qualifying defect.
  • Leakage at a fixed or stationary panel when caused by our installation.

How To Request Warranty Service

  1. Contact Local Glass & Screen and provide the original purchaser's name, installation address and proof of purchase if requested.
  2. Send clear photos or video showing the issue.
  3. We will review the information and determine whether the issue appears to qualify before scheduling a service visit.
Submitting a warranty request does not automatically qualify the issue for free service. Photos or video may be required before scheduling. If an inspection determines that the issue is not covered by this limited warranty, the customer may be responsible for the applicable service-call charge.

What Is Not Covered

  • Routine maintenance or service requested without a confirmed covered defect.
  • Water leakage through or around a movable frameless door when exposed to a direct water stream.
  • Glass that is broken, chipped or scratched after installation.
  • Mold, dirt, mineral buildup, normal silicone wear or cleaning-related conditions.
  • Sweeps, seals and other consumable parts after 90 days.
  • Damage caused by harsh or abrasive cleaners, misuse, impact, lack of maintenance or improper care.
  • Movement, cracks or defects in tile, curb, walls, substrate or the building structure.
  • Unauthorized adjustment, repair, alteration or removal by the customer or another contractor.
  • Normal cosmetic characteristics of glass that fall within applicable manufacturing tolerances.
  • Discoloration or wear of specialty finishes when excluded by the hardware manufacturer's warranty.

Additional Terms

This limited warranty is not a maintenance plan and does not cover commercial use unless stated in writing. Manufacturer warranties, when available, remain subject to the manufacturer's own terms. Local Glass & Screen will determine the appropriate covered remedy, which may include adjustment, repair or replacement of the qualifying component.
